Time Off
It's been nice to have this week off after Christmas. We got the house all picked up, got caught up on some projects we have wanted to do, and have still had time to go out & stay in/relax. Here are a few pics from this week. Jason built a cage for the dogs to stay in, in the truck while we travel. The pictures don't do it as much justice. It is really sturdy and the carpet makes it a little more comfortable.... I'm still a little paranoid that they will end up fighting; but nothing is ever a 100% predictable. The top pic is Maylynn in her new rubber ducky tub... she is getting to be such a "big girl"- she sits up so well on her own that we moved her into the ducky tub and she loves bath time even more now! The bottom picture is Maylynn enjoying some daddy time! Hope Everyones Holiday Season is going great! We Love You All!
Christmas
Maylynn's First Christmas was exciting (I think more for us then her). We caught her on Christmas Eve... she got into the gifts and opened one of her toys... the bottom picture of her looking guilty eating her block box (okay, so she didn't sneak it... her daddy did). Christmas Eve Night we all opened our PJ's (she didn't really have the concept of unwrapping... yet), then we read the Bible Christmas Story and then the story of Teach The Children. Maylynn went to bed early and actually let us sleep this night. On Christmas we woke up and went to church, when we got home from church she was sleeping so we waited till she woke up and then dove into opening the gifts. She started to get the concept of opening the gifts/chewing on the gifts, at least until she got one with a bow and then that was it... I think the bow was her favorite thing all day... Now she has been playing with all of her gifts, books, and trying on all her clothes... It Was Fun. She also ended up getting a late Christmas present on Monday Night... her first tooth!
WOOPS- Lets Go Back To Thanksgiving
For Thanksgiving we got the chance to fly out to Nevada and see the Chynoweth side of the family. Surprisingly Maylynn handled the flights very well and we got compliments on how well she flew (except she was being nosy and had to stare and smile at everyone she possibly could). We didn't do a Traditional Thanksgiving. On Turkey day we actually went to the Valley of Fire and went on a few small hikes. Then Dad, Judy, Angela, and her finance (poor memory-Taylor?) came down on Friday which is when we had a Thanksgiving Feast. The next day Sicily was awesome and watched the nugget for us so we could go to the temple. Then Finally the rest of the clan (Sam's Family) got to make it down on Sunday- Sunday night we had a Christmas party and got to sit back, relax, and enjoy catching up with everyone and watch the kids be kids... I can't believe how much my nieces and nephews have grown... time goes by way to fast! Monday we went out and had fun at Bass Pro (santa time) and a bunch of parks... it was really good to spend time with everyone! Thanks to those who had to traveled to see us and to those that we got to stay with and spend lots of time at their houses :) vvbbv byhvyvvcxxvvjmnuyfdfnv vvbbcv (maylynn's typing- translated it means.... I Can't Wait To Get To See and Play With My Cousins Again.... I Love Family). We Love You All and can't wait till we get to travel some more to see more of you that Maylynn hasn't got to meet yet!

Yeah it's Christmas all around! We got the shingles done and so Jason hooked up the outside of the house with some festive lighting.... Maylynn loves to stare at the lights- we can tell she is going to like this time of year. We just had to add another pic of her- she still give the blank stare when the camera comes out-LOL! Have A Merry Christmas Everyone!

Christmas Picture Fun
We had fun decorating the inside of the house (outside is awaiting the shingles to be changed out). Maylynn is still getting use to the camera- she will be smiling and talking away and then when we hold up the camera she just stares at it-LOL. We Love You All Tons and Miss You All So Much. Our Thoughts and Prayers are with ALL of you this Holiday Season and We Wish You A Very Merry Christmas!
